Apalachicola has been home to a variety of industries over the years- timber, shipping cotton, and seafood are the big three. Now tourism is on the rise in this small town of about 2,200 people. The town is "old Florida" with a quaint downtown and a working waterfront. The atmosphere is laid back and friendly.
