We were all happy to leave the surly folks at Bobby's at 0615 today. We were through Coffeeville, the final lock on the Tenn-Tom, by 0730. There were no donuts, darn it.
We met many towboats today, usually on the hairpin turns. There are soooo many switchbacks on this river!
The chart on my iPad shows some of the turns.
Mara Beel was followed by Quo Vadimus, Estrellita and Roundabout. We are all anchored for the night on the Tensaw River with these boats.
